About

:STUDIO was founded by Marius Stelian Gaman and Ana-Maria Branea as a research and experimentation laboratory focusing on understanding and exploring urban patterns and parameters, transformations and planning practices, architecture and design. :STUDIO is dedicated to creating sustainable interventions and projects, developed mainly for competitions or academic research. These investigations and experiments have been published, awarded and exhibited nationally and internationally.

:STUDIO a fost creat de Marius Stelian Gaman si Ana-Maria Branea drept laborator de cercetare si experimentare, punându-se accent pe întelegerea si explorarea modelelor si parametrilor urbani, transformarile urbane si practicile de planificare, arhitectura si design. :STUDIO este dedicat crearii de interventii si proiecte durabile, dezvoltate în principal pentru concursuri si cercetare academica. Aceste investigatii si experimente au fost publicate, premiate si expuse la nivel national si international.

Ana-Maria Branea

Ana-Maria Branea is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture, Polytechnic University of Timisoara, class of 2009 and has an Urban Design Master’s Degree (2010) and a PhD on the subject of urban management and e-participation (2014). She is currently a Lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning, where she teaches studio design and urban planning and is head of the Urban Planning Batchelor’s degree unit, having been a faculty member since 2009. She is part of the Research Centre for Urban Planning Timisoara since 2006, undertaking large scale applied research on urban design and planning, is a member of the city’s Urban planning technical advisory committee and won awards in national and international competitions on architecture and urbanism.

Ana-Maria Branea a absolvit Facultatea de Arhitectura, Universitatea Politehnica Timisoara, promotia 2009, si a obtinut diploma de masterat in Urbanism si amenajarea teritoriului (2010) si doctorat în management urban si e-participare (2014). Este lector în cadrul Facultatii de Arhitectura si Urbanism, unde preda planificare urbana si în cadrul atelierului de proiectare si conduce unitatea tematica de urbanism a examenului de diploma, fiind angajata în cadrul facultatii din 2009. Din 2006 face parte din Centrul de cercetare pentru dezvoltare durabila Timisoara, colaborând la proiecte de cercetare aplicata la scara mare. Face parte din Comisia tehnica de urbanism a Primariei municipiului Timisoara si a câstigat premii la competitii nationale si internationale de arhitectura si urbanism.

Marius Gaman
